Adawen Emrys
Adawen was a reverent follower of the Lord Father and questioned what he was to do with his life. One day he asked the Bishop after service, "Bishop Bowerman, I have a question to ask of you. I am nearly 19 years of age and have yet to find purpose in my life. I seek council on what to do." Bishop Bowerman then said "Young Adawen, tonight, while you are saying your nightly prayers, search your soul and you shall see what you have to do." That night during his prayers, Adawen dug deep into his heart and soul, he was shocked to see images of swords and blood. 'What could this mean...?' he thought to himself. 'The only way to find out is to search even farther.' Continuing his prayers, he delve even farther down inside himself, and then, it came to him...The sword, the blood, they were not of a violent nature, they were of brilliance and of life. "I know what I must do now" he said outloud, "I am to become a defender of the Lord our Savior, protector of all this is good and Godly...I am to become a Paladin." The next day, Adawen went to the nearest armor and weaponsmiths and had them craft him a sword and suit of leather armor. It was not much, but it was a start, a start to a righteous and just future... |
