Stalg Valandil
stalg@att.net

Stalg was conceived from a union which was never meant to be, and one which could never be acknowledged.   His father was Prince Valandil, soon to take the throne of a small kingdom.  His mother was a servant to the elven Lord Felthynn, and is believed to have elven blood herself. Lord Felthynn was ambassador of the elves, and his entourage would visit the Human Kingdom regularly.

Stalg was not formally acknowledged by his father, but they saw each other often, especially at times of discord between the humans and the elves, during meetings of diplomacy.  Stalg grew to love the intrigue and politics of the court life.  With connections in both the world of the Humans and that of the Elves, he learned the strengths and weaknesses of both races.  As he grew older, and wiser, his father would rely on Stalg to relay information to and from the kingdoms in subtle and inconspicuous ways.

Stalg learned to pass himself as an elf when at home with his mother, and also to fit in amongst his human kin. He learned the ways of stealth from his Elven companions, and the ways of subterfuge from the humans. Without a real "home", Stalg began to wander between the realms.  Some came to see him as a "rogue", but his companions know that he is a loyal friend, and that he uses his roguish skills for purposes other than self-indulgence and thievery.
