Origin
of the "per Ankh" An ancient scroll in the care of the Monks of Avashire depicts a "house of life" known as the per Ankh. This place was the Temple House of the resident Monks and served as a library for Elotah, a midland province of Avashire. This sacred Temple would draw those who sought Virtue throughout the entire realm of Avashire and the Monks residing there did serve the people of Avashire, doing all they could to teach the path of Virtue.
Yet the deeds done by the per Ankh were also documented, and within the minds of the Monks of Avashire did their heritage live on. After the commissioning of the Wiltshire Abbey, the founding Monks returned to Avashire to request of the Monks there to fund the construction of a new per Ankh, adjacent to the Wiltshire Abbey in Britannia.
