Wiltshire Abbey Desktop Theme v1.1 (8-19-2000)

We have continued our tradition of creating a guild based Desktop Theme, which works under Windows 95 & 98. The basic theme comes with the background shown here, along with a high quality, 16 bit stereo wave file (52 seconds worth) that plays when Windows loads. In addition, it contains custom icons, mouse cursors, and sounds that effectively turn your desktop into a constant reminder of the Wiltshire Abbey and our devotion to Virtue.

To get the theme, download the Abbey_Theme.zip file (5.17 MB) and unzip it into your c:/Program Files/Plus!/Themes directory. From there, you simply need to select the "Wiltshire Abbey" theme from the "Desktop Themes" program.

We apologize for the size of the download, as most of that size is due to the intro music file. We were simply not happy with reducing the quality of the .wav file, so we left it high quality....We think you'll agree it sounds great and well worth the extra download.

If you have any problems, questions, complaints or praise regarding the desktop theme, please email Daylar.

Update Your Version 1.0 Theme to Version 1.1

If you previously downloaded the Version 1.0 of our theme, you may wish to just download the updated files. These files include a revised wallpaper, more crisp animated cursors and a new my computer icon which match our revised logo.

Unzip the themeupdate1-1.zip file (232k) into your c:/Program Files/Plus!/Themes directory. It will ask if you wish to overwrite the existing files, and select "yes". After you've copied the files, open the desktop themes program. Scroll down and select "Wiltshire Abbey" again. Hit OK to update the changes.

Additional Wallpapers:

Due to the size of the original download, we decided to include only 1 wallpaper. We have created an additional 4 wallpapers to compliment the original Desktop Theme. Feel free to download them and use them as you will...

To use any of these files, simply click on them to load the full sized version into your web browser. Once in your web browser, right-click and select the "Set as Wallpaper" option.
